This position is responsible for providing administrative support and other related functions to the marketing and foundation departments. This position will perform a variety of administrative support tasks including scheduling, reporting and tracking information, reviewing and responding to correspondence and phone calls as needed/requested, and other related administrative support functions.
Performs word processing and administrative support to provide timely, accurate and professional looking documents. Prepares correspondence, reports, projects and PowerPoint presentations to meet timeline requirements from oral directions, rough drafts, and taped or handwritten copies. Proof read all work for accuracy of spelling, punctuation and grammar. Organizes office projects to ensure accurate and professional looking documents and material (i.e. committee materials, blessing and rituals, manuals, etc.) Provides administrative support to promote office efficiency relieving team of administrative detail. Registers/schedules meetings, training sessions, celebrations, conventions and/or reservations as needed for the department staff while also ensuring all refreshments, food, materials, supplies and equipment are in place for the meeting. Provides Support for Benedictine Foundation Governance Attend, take minutes and prepare final minutes of the Board of Directors and Board Executive and Finance committee meetings, maintain master files (electronic) of all AF bylaws and board of directors. Provides Support for Benedictine Foundation System Processes annual report filings/renewals, processes invoices and mail, supports all fundraising efforts by assisting with foundation support materials. Provides backup support to other administrative support staff as need arises. Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
