St. Benedict's Health Center is looking for individuals to assist with visits with our residents and their families and loved ones.
This person will assist in screening guests, bringing residents to their visits, ensuring social distancing is maintained, and sanitizing the visiting areas once the visit is over.
Other job duties will be assigned as time allows so flexibility to complete other assignments as well as reliability is a must!
(The Overview and Responsibilities stated below may be different than what is expected of a Screening Assistant.)
 
Hours we need for this position are as follows:
Employee Screening - Monday-Wednesday - 4:45 AM-7:15 AM, and 4:45 AM- 9:45 AM Sunday

Starting wage - $15.17/hr

Overview

The Nurse Aide Partner is a non-certified individual whose function is to assist the CNA/NAR with tasks that service the resident but do not require certification.  This position will enhance the resident experience by ensuring a home-like environment and availability of leisure activities while assuring resident safety and care.  

Responsibilities

Answers call lights if the requested task from the resident is outside of their scope, will alert nursing staff to the need.  Provide for psychosocial needs and non-physical needs ensuring no hand on cares or ADL assistance.  Reports changes in the resident's general condition, behavior or appearance to supervisor.  Follows community infection control practices.

Qualifications Required

  • Desire to work with those who have health and/or behavioral challenges.

Qualifications Preferred

  • Knowledge of or experience working with individuals with needs related to healthy aging, dementia, or chronic illness.
