The Companion is responsible for assisting in the enhancement of the resident’s quality of life by performing non-medical care functions such as socialization, leisure activities, and escorting. 

Provides supervision and socialization support with a group of residents as a support function to other staff and reports any concerns.  Assists residents to/from dining and activities, assists residents with room order, and disperses supplies.

Qualifications Preferred

• Knowledge of or experience working with individuals with healthy aging, dementia or chronic illness.
