The OT Assistant Float is responsible for the implementation of the plan of care based on the resident’s needs.
Evaluates and makes the necessary changes to the plan of care. Plans for residents’ discharge and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team regarding long-term and/or short-term needs. Provides education to residents, family, and caregivers regarding the care plan for the residents. Performs specific assessment regarding treatment and report findings to the occupational therapist. Provides treatment to all BHS communities as needed; may be required to travel to multiple sites in a day.
