Overview

Responsible for all functions of the marketing department, including developing census, leadership of marketing staff or committee and development and execution of all marketing and communication strategic plans for the facility, service lines and/or programs.

Responsibilities

Develops and executes strategic marketing plans, including budget development and management.  Maintains, develops or improves occupancy levels to meet or exceed budgeted goals.  Fosters and manages the brand, including the instruction of community staff members in proper use of identity.  Interprets and develops marketing strategy based on reports, legal documents, financial statements, etc. Provides project management; determine content, write, edit, and coordinate the design and production of external communication materials, such as newsletters, brochures, advertisements and direct mail pieces, etc.  Develops and plan marketing events, including open houses, community classes, health fairs, special events and community outreach activities, etc.

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism or related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software programs
  • Ability to travel to and from health care facilities, events, shows, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or related field
  • Sales/telemarketing experience
  • Experience leading, coaching, developing staff
