Overview

Bring your passion for food and make a difference in the lives of our residents. The Culinary Services Director is responsible for creating a welcoming culture focused on service excellence for our residents and a positive and nurturing team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes Benedictine’s Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing these values to life in the organization.
  • Builds and retains a strong culinary team where opportunities for growth are encouraged and all members are valued.
  • Collaborates with all care providers.
  • Oversees and maintains a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Manages and oversee efficient operations to maximize resident satisfaction including oversight of the culinary budget.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

  • Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course and certification where applicable.
  • Accreditation as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), or currently enrolled in approved CDM course and will be eligible to write CDM exam at completion of course work within 16 months of hire.
