This is an opportunity for any OT Assistant's also interested in being a Wellness Assistant. The Wellness Assistant is responsible for assisting in the enhancement of the residents’ quality of life through social, spiritual, therapeutic, and other wellness activities and programs within the community.  

 

Some of the responsibilities are:

  • Assisting in developing the community’s wellness programming. 
  • Facilitates daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents. 
  • Performs data collection to assist with the residents’ assessment processes. 
  • Assists in the implementation of the plan of care based on the residents’ needs.

This position will consist of OT Assistant hours and Wellness Aide hours to make it a full time position.  

 

 

Overview

The OT Assistant is responsible for providing treatment for residents/patients under the occupational therapy plan of care as established by the therapist.

Responsibilities

Also interacts with residents/patients, family members, responsible party and other health care team members, while maintaining standards of professional conduct. This position complies with regulatory standards of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Department of Health, and any other professional guidelines or standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required

  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, in good standing.
