Overview

The Occupational Therapist is responsible and accountable for residents’ evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning, and implementation of therapy interventions. 

Responsibilities

Develops and revises plan of care based on the residents’ needs and establishes functional goals, outcomes, and discharge plan.  Plans for residents’ discharge and anticipates for long term and/or short term residents’ needs.  Educates other health care team members, residents, family, and caregivers on information regarding the care plan for the residents.

  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Benedictine Living Community of Rochester is looking for a full time OT (0.75 FTE) to join our in-house therapy team. We offer a great team atmosphere, flexible hours and days, reasonable productivity, and no mandated group or concurrent treatment. There is no mandated weekend or holiday requirements. Benedictine offers assists with licensure reimbursement, continuing education credits, and professional association dues.
