  • Overview

    This position supports all community culinary services to assure excellence in food preparation, service, guest satisfaction and clinical dietetics. Responsibilities include providing education, training, policy implementation, and standardization of culinary services within long-term, assisted living and housing communities of the Benedictine Health System.


    • Creates, develops and deploys Culinary Services necessary to support food quality and guest satisfaction scores through training, communications, and reporting needs across the BHS system.
    • Maintains a working relationship with culinary vendors and engages in contract negotiations to ensure fair pricing and quality services.
    • Leads and participates on assigned committees and task forces.
    • Conducts training and support to ensure compliance with BHS established programs.
    • Promotes the BHS Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
    • Performs other duties, tasks, and/or projects as assigned.


    Qualifications Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and at least five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • ServSafe Certified
    • Certified Food Service Director
    • Dietician Licensure

    Qualifications Preferred:

    • Experience in food service in healthcare settings
