Bring your creativity and leadership to the kitchen! As a Sous Chef, you will lead a team in creating a nutritious and appealing dining experiences for our wonderful residents.

• Assists with managing the daily operations of the kitchen, establishes goals for the culinary services department, and trains the kitchen staff regarding food preparation and handling.
• Create menus that drive resident meal satisfaction.
• Serves meals based on residents’ preferences.
• Promotes food safety and sanitation.  
• Actively participates in all culinary trainings and welcoming and onboarding new hires.

Qualifications Required

• Commitment to quality service, food quality, and trend knowledge.
• Two years in a cooking role.

Qualifications Preferred

• Completion of a two (2) year Culinary College program.
• Understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Food Safety Sanitation Certificate
