Overview

The Vice President, Finance serves as the primary operational finance leader for Benedictine, supporting the SVP, Finance/CFO in driving financial performance, process excellence, and stewardship across all communities. This role directly oversees Accounting and Regional Directors, Finance, creating strong integration between financial reporting, analysis, and community-level financial performance management. This position partners closely with Operations leadership and collaborates with Revenue Cycle Management, Business Intelligence, and IT functions to deliver high-quality financial results aligned with Benedictine’s mission and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leads Regional Directors, Finance and accounting functions.
  • Monitors financial performance of Benedictine communities.
  • Leads operational execution of the annual budgeting and forecasting process for Benedictine communities.
  • Partners with Accounting, Revenue Cycle Management, Business Intelligence, IT, and Treasury teams to ensure alignment between financial reporting, cash flow, and operational insights.
  • Develops and coaches a high-performing, mission-driven regional finance and accounting team.
  • Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
  • Perfroms other duties, tasks, and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related area of primary study and ten (10) years of progressive experience in Healthcare Finance environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Salary Range

$230,000-$250,000
