The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the clinical unit and growth of the facility and community resources.
Provides comprehensive standards, practices, and programs that meet the needs and best interests of the facility and residents. Develops and facilitates growth within the Nursing Department by managing the training, development, and performance of the staff. Performs assessments; develops and implements appropriate plan of care based on the residents’ needs. Evaluates the plan of care and makes the necessary changes as needed.
This position will have a Staff Development focus, as well as other clinical and supervisory responsibilities. Madonna Towers has a clinical leadership team consisting a of a MDS Coordinator, two Clinical Managers, and a Director of Nursing along with the ADON position.
The hours for this position are flexible. Applicants can discuss several schedule options. Facility prefers applicants that can work periodic evening shifts so they have a rapport with staff from all shifts.
This position is salaried; there is an option to work longer days and take off a day during the week (ex. four 10-hr days).
